"Extremely disappointed with the State Farm office of Brandon. They referred me to RoadRunners USA MiamiDade Corp for roadside assistance, required upfront payment, and even texted me a link to enter my credit card information before they would dispatch help. What followed was a complete failure—a 3.5-hour delay for a 27-minute ETA, a technician who arrived unprepared with an undercharged device, and a botched jump-start that left my car dead again within seconds. When I reported the situation, they refused to take any accountability for the provider they pushed me to pay in advance. No support, no ownership—just deflection. This isn’t the first time either. During a previous incident involving property theft while I was traveling, they dismissed my claim outright, incorrectly stating my policy didn’t apply because I was out of the country. That was false—I later found the clause showing that coverage should extend in that situation. There’s a clear pattern here: take payment, avoid responsibility, and leave the customer to deal with the fallout. Completely unacceptable."

"Hi Cristina, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your recent roadside assistance request and understand how frustrating and stressful this situation must have been for you. To provide some additional context, at the time of your request, your car insurance policy was not active because it had been temporarily suspended for the winter months, as you were not driving the vehicle. This suspension meant that roadside assistance benefits were not available through your insurance at that moment. Consequently, the roadside assistance provider required upfront payment directly from you, as they could not bill State Farm for the service. We recognize this can be confusing, especially when coverage reinstatement processes do not happen in real time and when you were actively trying to get help. Regarding the referral to RoadRunners USA MiamiDade Corp, I want to clarify that our office does not maintain a preferred vendor list for roadside assistance providers, nor do we control the payment policies of third-party companies. The link you received to enter your credit card information was sent from a person at State Farm corporate outside of our normal business hours, not by our office. When you contacted us later in the morning, our team was unaware of this prior interaction. We tried to assist by exploring available options and communicated with you multiple times throughout the day to provide solutions, but unfortunately, those options did not meet your expectations. Please know that our team always aims to support our clients to the best of our ability within the scope of our services. As for the technician’s delayed arrival and the issues with the jump-start, while we do not directly manage the service quality of third-party providers, we take your feedback seriously and will share it with the appropriate contacts to help improve future service experiences. Regarding the previous incident you mentioned involving property theft during your travels, we discussed this at length during our conversations. You started a business overseas, and the theft related to that business. Your personal renters insurance policy in Minnesota covers personal belongings but does not extend coverage to business property or incidents related to your business operations abroad. We reviewed the specific language of your policy together, which includes a small percentage of coverage for personal property while traveling internationally, but this coverage explicitly excludes business assets. We understand this distinction can be complex, and we strive to clarify coverage limits to avoid misunderstandings. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and want to assure you that we are committed to providing transparent communication and support.
